Bent Tempered Glass
Bent tempered glass is a safety glass with increased mechanical and thermal strength, used on curved architectural surfaces. With a range of size and radius options, Camglass offers solutions for the curved forms required by architectural designs.
Used in insulating glass units with suitable glass and coating combinations, it provides thermal insulation and solar control on curved façades. Performance values are determined by the build-up of glass, coatings and cavities in the unit.
Available in clear, low-iron, tinted and ceramic printed options. Laminated options with clear and coloured interlayers meet a variety of design needs.
Camglass bent tempered glass is supplied as monolithic, laminated or insulating glass according to the project’s size, radius and performance requirements.
Key Features
Curved form
Enables distinctive, flowing architectural solutions.
High strength
Delivers strong performance against impact and thermal stress.
Architectural flexibility
Gives buildings a modern, striking appearance.
Related Production Processes
Before bent tempering: Cutting and edge grinding; drilling and CNC processing according to the fixing detail. For the ceramic printing option, printing is completed before heat treatment.
After bent tempering: Lamination or insulating glass assembly as required by the project, ensuring form and dimensional compatibility between the layers.
Applications
Glass Balustrades
Façade Systems
Interior Partitions
