Tempering
At its Kıraç and Kırklareli facilities, Camglass applies full tempering and heat strengthening to flat glass. Processing capacity covers ceramic printed and enamelled glass as well as toughenable Low-E and Solar Low-E glass, including double-silver options.
Coated glass is processed in accordance with the glass manufacturer’s heat treatment conditions. Mechanical processing and surface applications are completed before tempering.
In line with the project specification, fully tempered glass undergoes heat soak testing in accordance with TS EN 14179. The test reduces the risk of spontaneous breakage caused by nickel sulphide.
